Continuing the fine tradition of Tulane athletics... in the mid-80s, I attended a Tulane-South Carolina basketball game that was later rumored to have been rigged by Tulane as part of a larger point-shaving scandal.
It may just be some OCD type thing, that he has to do. I guess it's better than him out there twirling his hair.
All baseball players have weird ritually. I pitched in college and I always adjusted my hat it was just something I did and still do when I’m on the mound. Anyway, his stuff breaks hard his off speed and breaking stuff are plus plus pitches. Even his 2 seamer has great depth. Hope see him pitching in MLB someday!

It's more of like a ritual before each pitch..notice he pushes the palm dent into the palm for a better fitment for the pitch..then hat..and then the pitch. I could see if he was massaging his fingers in the glove or wipes down with fingers..but he is literally just pushing in the dent..and moving on
