  • It's been emotional watching proceedings in this issue. I try to turn off to it, just too much fake news right from the start and it was a political issue right from the get go. this however is a whole different perspective and listening to Brandon is very refreshing and he has a good temperament for this.

    • It’s funny hearing people who know nothing about drugs try to explain how they work, and how much someone can take. Tolerances are real, and can allow someone to take way more than the “lethal” dose. People have been caught driving under the influence with levels at 100ng/ml and higher. So the 19 really doesn’t tell you a single thing about the level of intoxication he’s at.

      SoKoSoKo20 วันที่ผ่านมา
  • Yup I have no doubt he won’t get murder, but I think there’s a high chance that he gets manslaughter

    SoKoSoKo20 วันที่ผ่านมา
    • To say he didn’t know what he is doing is super ignorant bro. He was looking eveyone dead in the eye and applied more pressure, and stayed on him after they said he had no pulse. He knew what he was doing. When he wasn’t staring down the by standers he was looking right at GF and could see he wasnt moving. Whether or not he “meant” to kill him though. Idk.

  • Tim b*tching about no one telling him that his license would get suspended if he got two tickets is pretty pathetic. The dude sells himself as an "investigative journalist," yet he never thought, "I wonder what happens if I don't pay this ticket?" Sorry kid: live and learn. That's the nature of things. If you want to drive, then you should follow the laws, and at least look into the consequences of not paying tickets. I don't think the Libertarian position on this would be to expect the government to hold your hand, yet he keeps insisting he is more libertarian and that no one told him he would lose his license. Like B Tatum said, "you were guilty."

  • 1:30:00 Always take your tickets to court. Boy in a Band made a song about this that i think is relative called dont stay in School...its not about dropping out, its about all the stupid things they teach us in school, and all the incredibly important things they do not teach us....like paying taxes or laws we need to be aware of. I fully agree. I dont need a teacher to show me how to screw and what diseases i can catch....but it might have been helpful to know that if i pay a ticket then its the same thing as pleading guilty. When i was in college i received 11 tickets in 3 years. i paid the first one even though I thought it was BS. Told one of my professors later that week. Turns out she is a lawyer and tells me the ticket was absolute BS and the ticket should never have been issued in the first place due to a bunch of statutes that invalidated the ticket on its face. After that i took every ticket i received to court and got 9 of the next 10 thrown out. ....after awhile i started getting a lot more warnings.

  • IMO the worst part about the George Floyd issue is that there are much better instances of clear cut police brutality and law enforcement over reach. I feel like the media pushed George Floyd specifically because it looked bad but wasnt really that outrageous, but easy to make look outrageous. If they had pushed the stories that were obviouysly wrong, then i guess its not worth as much money and views to the media because if everyone agrees.....case closed. but there are half a dozen cases last year that most people agree are fucked up and those should have been the figureheads for BLM. why George Floyd and Chauvin?

Have they even mentioned them working together, yet they acted like the never had seen each other before. They have never brought up his porn career either.

  • So, the story goes, he had it in his mouth for 10 minutes or so, between being taken out of the truck and trying to stuff him in the car, but there was not a significant level of anything in his system to be suspect in his death. That's obvious to anyone who has ever used fentanyl. Opiate overdoses look Much different than that. He didnt have any behavior consistent with acute intoxication. I find it impossible to believe he didnt bother to swallow the pill, but instead, spit part of it out, producing visual evidence, and wasting something that would help with the discomfort of what was happening. I think it was planted, ex post facto.

    Wonky SanghaWonky Sangha23 วันที่ผ่านมา
  • When GF said "They're gonna kill me" I first thought he was speaking to the crowd and talking about the cops. But GF is talking directly to the cops throughout and now that I know about the drug overdose I believe by ”they" he was referring to the drugs...not the cops. He was saying the drugs I injested are going to kill me.

  • Opiates are no joke. Crashed a motorcycle on the freeway shattering my hand; told the doctor if he prescribed me narcotics i would try and find a way to sue him. When asked why, i said "because I know too many dead from them, and as a kid i tore up my liver and kidneys with pills and booze; so I'll stick to cannabis oil for pain management" He replied "between me and you; I do the same" ..... My hand was the size of a football. One night I had ran out of cannabis oil and was thriving in pain unable to sleep. A person i was camping with was a heroin snorter. (He put baking powder with heroin in a container and shook it up to have the power absorb the black tar.) The only time i ever took H, i snuffed a pellet sized ammount of the power. It took my pain away and I went straight to sleep. Had i had cannabis i wouldn't have done it. But yeah there's a time and place for such things. But people's lack of self control, combined with Doctors over-prescribing them = deadly addiction.

  • Love you guys, but I do have to correct you. I've snorted 2 grams of ketamine (horse tranquilizer) but I was addicted to heroin in Minneapolis. It's all fentanyl. I developed sleep apnea from doing it. It creates high levels of carbon dioxide in your blood stream which causes asphyxiation. I've nearly died several times. I've mixed fentanyl, mushrooms, and bathsalts together and forgot who I was for like 16 hours. And yes your right I've seen people over dose on that amount of fentanyl you showed in the picture. Actually saw the top in the world call of duty at the time over dose on 5$ worth of fentanyl.

And I was blackmailed into paying a parking ticket I couldn’t have even been guilty of, but I couldn’t afford to take a chance that they’d claim I didn’t prove my innocence well enough and told me I’d owe 10 times in court fees what just paying the false ticket would cost. I hate Chicago politics and justice system. I think they just find ways to make money off you by falsely ticketing you.

  • George Floyd robbed women and children at night inside of their homes while his friends beat the women. I’m black and I can’t ride or defend that man. In all actuality I don’t even trust meth addicts at all. I don’t care for Chauvin I also think it was personal since Floyd and Chauvin knew, worked with, and had disputes with each other over paychecks. As a black conservative it’s crazy seeing how BLM uses death for their propaganda. I blame a lot of this on the Republican Party, how distant they are from the majority, they didn’t weed out the confederates and racists now most people and youth hate conservatives. When you don’t weed out the bad apples it makes everyone look guilty, same applies to police officers. If the good cops weeded out the bad cops and don’t practice the Blue code of silence bs a lot of these events wouldn’t occur.

  • (48:39) even though fentanyl is 25-50 times stronger than heroin and 50-100 times stronger than morphine, _carfentanil_ is a synthetic opioid and analog of fentanyl that is 100X stronger than typical fentanyl citrate! that would make _carfentanil_ 2,500-5,000 times stronger than heroin and 5,000-10,000 times stronger than morphine. i can only imagine how much smaller a lethal dose of _carfentanil_ would be in comparison to a lethal dose of fentanyl and a penny. if i had to guess, though, i'd say a lethal dose of _carfentanil_ would be about the size of 2 or 3 grains of sand!

    Dirk RyanDirk Ryan25 วันที่ผ่านมา
  • (3:50) why don't cops attempt to hold suspects-particularly, suspects who are thought to be in possession of a firearm-from a place of cover (behind a car, building, street lamp, etc.)? when a cop is exposed and in the open while detaining a suspect at gunpoint, almost _any_ unintentional movement could be _perceived_ as a threat to their life, causing them to fire on the suspect. however, if the cop was holding the suspect from a place of cover, many of those same movements would represent a much lower threat for the cop. about the only time i can remember seeing police taking cover were in active-shooter situations, and i'm wondering why cops don't do it more than they do. i'd love to get B-Tatum's take on this (btw, in these hypothetical situations, we're assuming that by taking cover, the cop isn't putting innocent civilians at higher risk).

    Dirk RyanDirk Ryan25 วันที่ผ่านมา
  • (14:02) while i agree w/ Tim that an "expert witness" working on behalf of the state/prosecution getting paid $13K for his testimony just feels gross, big-league defense lawyer Robert Barnes doesn't think it's necessarily _bad._ he said the experts who should be questioned are those who _volunteer_ to testify in highly publicized cases for free _before_ knowing many of the key details they would _need_ to know before coming to a conclusion. Barnes believes witnesses like that should be heavily scrutinized because there's a good chance they are biased and only getting involved to virtue-signal by supporting the outcome that the media want them to conclude. i know, it definitely _feels_ backward, but Barnes is a lawyer-a pretty successful one at that-whose been in the game for awhile, so i'll differ to him.

  • I absolutely agree with Tatum about regulating drugs even our legal drugs because I am someone who has suffered from chronic back problems and pain since I was a child and I was prescribed multiple heavy duty pain killers for years which made me physically dependent upon them and made my tolerance to pain medication through the roof. I was told that pain management was my only option but I was able to fortunately get off of the pills and I realized just how little these doctors really care about what they're doing to people and addicting people to drugs that at the time when I started them I had no idea were so incredibly addictive and potentially fatal. I never should have been prescribed such large quantities of numerous heavy duty opiate medications for 6 years until I took myself off of them!
