  • I remember reading a review about this in one of the car magazines back in 1987. The reviewer said something like "the car to buy if you're Darth Vader."

  • It's a really nice car but it is what is. Don't get the hype and people paying ridiculous amounts for something that's not really that hard to build or whatever.

  • That's not the air intake. It's the air scoop for the intercooler. You show very clearly the uncovered air filter. There is a cold air intake box you can get that vents air in from a replacement lower chin spoiler but this car does not have it.

  • I remember when cars and vans had slots for change. My mothers 1988 Dodge Caravan had one only you would push down on the slot to insert or remove change. This is a very cool car.

  • My youngest brother had one of these and he put the Canadian chip in it. He would have 3 friends inside and he would have it pegged on the speedo. The only thing that could pass him was the latest Z28 with a V8.

  • There are no muscle cars in the 80s, let alone American. No 6 cylinders are "muscle" surely. Get it together, buddy. Start reviewing some real muscle cars and get off the bandwagon budget cars.

  • Regan passed a law that limited speedometers to 85 to try and keep kids from speeding they thought if you didn’t know how fast you were going they wouldn’t try so all spedos in cars back then went to 85 in every car and a funny fact when the filmed back to the future they had to build a custom Speedo face to go to 95 so you could see they were going 88 however in the actual movie car the speedo only went to 85 and you can see it in some shots

  • I used to race GN's on the service drive while cruisin gratiot back in the day. I had a monte ss with a zz3 crate engine dropped in, TCI 700r4 and AC baby. I used to edge out GN's everytime. I built my car to beat mustangs. These late 80s early 90s GT's pissed me off. My Monte was cousins with the Grand National. Beautiful car.
