  • Load management is a mixed topic, my personal opinion, if a player is making millions of dollars and they sit out because of load management is just dumb. People pay to see these players play, I think no play, no pay.

  • They can say what they like unless they can tell you at the start of the season which games they will be playing in inspite of load management. So that nobody can show up to the games where there favorite players wont play. The science is fine but you've already changed so much and still try to compare them to past era's. After this it's over. Jordan played hurt. Exhausted. Sick. He played and they all did. Max is insane and wants this job forever. Satisfy the bosses with your praise for the current product so the fan always feel like his experience is the best experience. Bullshit.

  • I feel like at the end of the day that player is making money because of the fan. A player gets endorsements and money because fans like them. If no one shows up for the game, if no one buys that players jerseys then that player will NOT make the money they are making. So the least they can do is play for that family who just paid hundreds if not thousands of dollars they really don't have to see their fave player play.

  • Defense is harder now. Mainly for the hand check rule change and the rise of 3's. U cant even touch these guys when they have the ball anymore. U can get a foul on a 3 without even touching the guy who took the 3. Plus some of these guys u gotta guard as soon as the get past the logo.

  • ya'll talk so much u missing the rules change factor. which affects the dynamics of intensity. u ever wondered y there was chants of Dee fence as opposed to today its non existent. bottom line is in today's game being more complicated players are asked to do more but just '"shadow "the opponent don't touch no body to body contact. I call to the stand as witnesses Xzavia McDaniel John starks and Charles oakley.. and the prosecution must offer similar players from today's game..prosecution...we find that a daunting task your honor so we subject to the defences defenses its like night and day A famous quote from Pat Riley at that time was " some players look like they're playing hard but doing nothing. in other words its make believe..this help defences is a joke back in the day u on your own. they would play that same game today with different results from trapping and helping. ya'll auth to do wat the Wolf man used to say " Let's go to the Vedio " and we rest our case your Honor

  • Kawhi has said before that he did not like regular season, regular season is just practice for him. So he tries to join a really good team to try to carry him into playoff and when he gets there, he's fully charged up and everybody is tired so he has advantage. Right now, he has Paul George as his personal slave to try and make up for his absence--his team mates are like plantation laborers working for him to carry him to playoffs.

These current NBA players are much less intense and get paid much more money. And now with all the money they make, they have the audacity to talk about "load management".I Load management indeed so they sit their behinds down and play video games right.... Let's get real.

  • Max is usually the delusional one, but SAS is crazy to say players played harder during the 80's and 90's! Sure the game was rougher back then, but that doesn't mean players were giving their 100%. The competition nowadays has reached an all time high, the amount players coming from countries other than the US has also peaked . To be honest i think SAS is just having a bad day !

  • Max still on the crack pipe, I see. If you’ve watched the tape, which is very limited, they played the same way in the 60s and 70s. Up and down, really fast. Granted they weren’t the athletes they are now, but that’s why the stats were so gaudy then and why they are now. Max obviously isn’t educated enough on basketball history as he’d like to think. But guys back then weren’t afraid to play til the buzzer and weren’t as soft and supple as guys are now. They only cared about basketball.

    pendletondrewpendletondrew27 วันที่ผ่านมา
  • I wonder what the guys like Reggie Miller, and Rip Hamilton thought of their energy output; constantly running in circles on the offensive end trying to get an open three as compared to... Set me a high pick and let me step 4 feet behind the line to shoot a three... because lazy. How about those defenders that had to chase them around in circles because zone defense wasn't allowed back then. Compare fast breaks where you would be benched for shooting a 3 on the break and now most guys don't even run the full length of the court and just jackup a three for at least a third of the fast breaks now. Unless they are wide open to the hoop. The only thing guys do now that takes up more energy is guard the guy with the ball a couple feet behind the ark. That is literally it.

  • Look at the NHL, they play 60min games and the most elite players will play between 20-22mins a game, excluding defensemen who play more like 25. It's simple, either add a few more players by increasing the draft and cap space or give bench players more time then the 10-12mins they usually get. Let them play 20+ and let the starters decrease their play time into a more manageable 25min average.

  • Did Kellerman just attempt to replace M.A. with M.J. , as the G.A.O.A.T. ? I added the all too often omitted letter "A" to this lauded acronym because Muhammad Ali himself often reminded us that their is only one who is The Greatest_ in his oft recited confession saying Allah-U-Akbar. In English translates to Allah (God) Is The Greatest. So we learn that without qualifications, there's only One Who is Thee Greatest. Therefore going forward, when we lavish praise upon men exulted to most excellent in the arena crafts, the highest accolade cannot exceed_the greatest athlete of all time(GAOAT.)
