Most players have a mix of both but there are some people who are more of only one those types. I wanted to find out which is more important and what better way than forcing players to 1v1. So we will see platinums, diamonds, grand champs and even supersonic legends face off against their opposite. Will Mechanics or Game Sense prove to be more important?

well i have basically no mechanics and i am C2. I constantly play with people in D3-C2 who are hitting flip resets/musty flicks etc but then miss a wide open net or blow an easy save. Mechanics are important, but rotation/speed/consistency is more important.
I'm shocked that a bunch of players with equal rankings ended up having very close matches.
I mainly say it to be in a vid lol I would think im more of a mechanical player

I’m actually gold but I think i should be in at least platinum as I have very good game-sense and I sometimes use mechanics and I’m currently learning the air dribble.
I'm smart because i learn and train the mechanics but if I have that simple shot I'm taking it to make my life easier

Honestly a balance of both is always the best,I just hit champ 1 in standard and have peaked at diamond 2 in doubles and solos.I only have 174 hours in all and only 7 of those are in training.I only go into training to practice certain mechanics like ceiling shots,resets,dribbling and the basics just to improve.But it’s better to just keep playing normal matches and practice both to develop your confidence more making you an overall better player.

im a p2 in 2v2s and getting put under pressure isnt that bad tbh i usually play tournaments in other games and do know how to deal with that type of pressure ( i do suck at rl tho )
