When the camera pans towards Wanda in her astral form, a small motif is heard and it sounds very much like the same motif from doctor strange when he asrises after the cloak saves him. This power was awakened and empowered by one of the Infinity Stones thanks to Von Strucker, who experimented on her and Pietro. Because of her connection to Chaos, Wanda can literally alter the fabric of reality on a whim, and to an even greater extent when in a state of altered consciousness- anger, rage, sadness, joy. She is essentially a boundless vessel for an infinite supply of magickal energy. The Sorcerer Supreme however, is a student of the mystic arts, a human or sometimes otherworldly being who is trained to draw energy from alternative dimensions in small or moderate quantities to power their spells. However, they are usually limited in how much they can use due to their finite lifespan and base genetic qualities- few humans are designed with the potential to wield magick to such an extent. On top of this, the Sorcerer Supreme is wholely dependent on the existence of raw mystical energy to fuel their spells, as well as a need to be in the right mental state to perform them- we saw that in Dr. Strange, when he failed to use the slingring and later couldn’t defend himself against his own attackers in the Sanctuary. Wanda, while mostly human, has been mutated by her connection to Chaos, suffusing her form with its power so that it simply became part of her existence. Hence how she made the Hex in the first place. What is she doing at the end? It seems as though Wanda is astral projecting herself to read and understand the Darkhold, learning about her power through it. Her physical form is walking about, giving the guise of normalcy for whoever is watching her (SHIELD or SWORD or someone else) For those who aren’t aware, the Darkhold in the MCU is essentially a guidebook for all things a person could ever desire. For the modern man, it could be a guidebook to gaining the most advanced technology or creating an everlasting empire, while for magick users its a guide to infinite power. Because Agatha mentioned it had a chapter in it about the Scarlet Witch, Wanda is reading it to understand her place in the universe and how to use her powers to get what she wants- her own children and Vision back. However, her children in this continuity are gone...for now. In the comics, her children are reborn in the main timeline thanks to a deal made with a powerful entity by taking a portion of her power and rebirthing them through natural conception in other parents. As the result, they’re still genetically hers, but also genetically another’s. They inherit her and Pietro’s powers- the genetic potential of the Maximoff bloodline. It will likely be a similar scenario in this timeline, with either Cthon, Mephisto, or Dormammu bringing them back as part of a deal or scheme. What does this mean in the grand scheme of things? Well, ultimately her new powers and identity mean that she is now the most powerful entity we’ve seen in the MCU, aside from the Celestials. At maximum, she is capable of warping reality to a greater extent than any known reality bender to date, capable of releasing and manipulating Chaos energy in a similar fashion to the way Thor manipulates lightning or the way Captain Marvel channels waves of energy through her hands, and can even create hallucinations or visions in the minds of others. Worse than that, she is also now a potential student of the mystic arts, meaning she could be learning magick from Dr. Strange in their upcoming film. This could all become a hazard or an aid in the future, depending on where they take her storyline. Destroyer or Savior. Either way, I expect we’ll probably see her go toe to toe with other powerful people in the future, especially now that we’re expecting to see the Eternals (the godlike race of enhanced humans made by the Celestials) later this year, as well as the Mutants (which a lot of people were hoping WandaVision would introduce but didn’t get to see), and several surprise beings that have yet to be announced pending movie releases.
