  • Nate said he wants to fight the very best that have maintained that reputation throughout the years while random fighters get hyped up, get the belt, then suffer a loss and disappear from mma. There's an interview with Nate when CM Punk was about to have his UFC debut. Nate talked about how a lot of fighters wanted to fight CM Punk and be his first fight. Nate said " what are you talking about? This guy don't get to fight me. He's an ametuer." That's always been one of my favorite interviews/rants he did and onto of that he stuck up for all pro fighters as a whole saying that letting am amateur fight in the pros "makes us all amateurs"

  • Chael, a question. George Masvidal has seemingly done enough in his recent fights (and in most impressive fashion, I might add) to be in consideration of a title shot, perhaps against the winner of Covington/Usman. What are your thoughts on the imminent Diaz/Masvidal fight and how that plays into a title shot for either George or Nate? Nate just defeated the #7 ranked guy, and that has to count for something in the discussion of top contenders for a title shot, even after the lengthy hiatus. Could Diaz and Masvidal work into the contract that the winner would get a shot at the champion of Covington/Usman, or is that an unlikely scenario? Speculation...thoughts...insights? Thanks, your channel!

  • Calling out Masvidal was the most genius move I've seen anyone do in UFC since Chael got at Anderson. Masvidal is hot shit in MMA right now, his stocks are up, Diaz just started a feud with him just like he did McGregor back in 2015. Let's be real, Dana White is going to do whatever McGregor wants to do and McGregor needs Diaz for his legacy more than Diaz needs McGregor because of the outcome. Diaz/McGregor 3 is going to happen because McGregor wants it, simple as that, so Nate didn't even bother with McGregor and went for a second cash cow in Masvidal. It's not about winning these fights, it's about how much they pay, and Nate got 2 huge paychecks coming up.

  • Nate vs Jorge needs to be a 5 rounder.

    P McGP McG11 หลายเดือนก่อน
  • I really think the UFC should implement the old Pride rules, with a 10 minute first round. It really gives the fighters a chance to establish their game plan. I also think they should make the co-main events a 5 rounder as well. It was awesome to see Nate come back and do it like he did. Been a huge fan of the Diaz brothers for sure, and I didn't catch that interview you did with him, but mad respect for Nate wanting to give Masvidal his shine that he deserves. That's respect. That's what this sport has been missing for awhile now. Yes, there is respect in the octagon at the end of fights, most of the time, but all the extra shit that goes on is just way too WWE. It's what turned me off for watching UFC for a year or so now. With the pre-fight antics that go on these days, it feels like it's a big step back. Especially since the company tried to be taken seriously right from the start. Anyways, I got stupidly stoked for the potential for a Diaz/Masvidal fight! Those two will go in there and put on a show that fans will appreciate. They both bring it, they both talk the talk and walk the walk! For the first time in a long time, I'm looking forward to a fight that's not even scheduled yet! Really do like the channel too. Curious, what happened to your video about GSP being the GOAT? I agreed 110% with everything you said. There is no real GOAT, but if there is, it's hard to look past GSP. You had so many good points that I wanted to show some of my friends that video. What happened to it?

  • Interesting fight but Masvidal is an elite sniper vs a Nate who gets clipped too often.

    Stephen LindsayStephen Lindsay11 หลายเดือนก่อน
  • More of the "Nate was the bigger man" false narrative that started with Conor and is now being used as an excuse for Pettis. Nate fought twice at 170 against real 170's who never fought at 155 like Conor or Pettis. This was against Rory MacDonald and Stungun. He got absolutely outmuscled and ran over by them. It wasn't competitive due to the size disparity. The real reasons they both lost was because Nate puts on a pace that few can keep up with. Conor gassed in the first fight and said, "I wasn't efficient with my energy." He also gassed vs. Mayweather is a smaller man. Conor tried to knock out Nate and was throwing with full power. Pettis lost because he threw a leg kick in the first round, Nate checked it and Pettis broke his ankle. From that moment on, his leg was compromised and kept buckling. That's why he was backing up the whole time similar to Santos vs. Jones. Pettis was in a wheelchair afterwards.

    John SmithJohn Smith11 หลายเดือนก่อน
    • Conor was more "efficient with his energy" vs. Mayweather, but thought the ref would let him rest more in the clinch and the ref kept breaking them up instantly. I thought it was a little fast while watching live, but to be fair, Conor was throwing a lot rabid punches and elbows to the back of the head.
