@Mxgic Wxnd I'm wondering where you got these lines from, Maybe some kind of fanfiction? It's just that the name of the bitten was never mentioned in the books.

The only thing I am thinking is how Mikes tally marks might be related to the games. I’m thinking that each tally equals 1 night, Exactly how there is 5 nights per week that he has to work in each FNAF game. He completes every week at every location up to 5 (if night five on SL even counts) and only 4 because on night 5 of FNAF 6, He dies in the fire. But what stumps me is did he survive the fire or not? But he is writing in the logbook then so did mike write in the logbook in the past or future?

I'm surprised that MatPat's tangent on confirmation bias didn't give him more flak from the fans. He's basically saying "I like to play around with facts in the source material to fit my own narratives that go against the creator's intentions". Combine that with the quote he said in Inside a Mind's video about GT which basically exposes his broken theory-crafting methods and how he lies his way into making money, I'm just dumbfounded by the naive positivity his fans give him and allow him to get away with this. I'm not saying he hasn't changed in his ways or that he is not aware of it, but I (and a lot of former fans) would feel much better if he made stronger changes to his channel schedule and methods on making theory videos. At this point, a lot of his "theories" are either not theories at all or suffer from the same flaws that persist to this day, so him making a big change would help him out in the long run.

Guys I found the fnaf 4 lore I THINK. Here is my fnaf 4 mini theory. The crying child Is being manipulated by his golden Freddy plush. He wants the crying child to think that all the animatronics are bad and that he's the only good one. the way he made these animatronics in the child's mind is by using the illusion disc. And you may be thinking oh if this is an illusion that out then how come the child dies after being caught by one? see on the side of the bed he's in medical treatment. I think that means you can't really see anything scary cos he has like anxiety and I think he might get a heart attack or something and die. that is all I can explain. I'll try and give you the lore of nightmare but cos it's just been really hard and stressful, but if you can reply to this with the lore of nightmare before I'm able to update this then congrats, and like I said finding the lore of nightmare has been extremely stressful and hard, but I think that nightmare is golden Freddy's spirit. As you can see has a golden top hat and a golden bow tie. That's all I can say for now I don't really have more info.

Although the theories of the crying child’s name being even could be a sign that the Evan in the story could be the crying child when he is older in a different well..... universe or timeline where he did not die from the bite or the bite never happened. The true name of the crying child was found. Or at least chosen to be the name of the crying child. There is no lore behind it. At least not that I know of. But there is a debate on weather the crying child is Michael and Michael is actually Terence afton or mike being mike and the crying child being either Terence or Christopher afton. But it has been chosen/proven that the crying child’s name is Christopher afton (or Christ afton for short).

I am kind of convinced on the name Evan. My reasoning for why I’m not completely sure is this: If C.C (Crying Child) was bitten, and died to posses Golden Freddy, how is he alive to be in the army or even talk to Jake? It just doesn’t fit in my opinion. I know that this kind of thing can happen easily in these books, but it just doesn’t seem right. The fact that Mike, is very similar to Mike in the book, convinces me more however. In the book it says that “Evan” does not have any other living relatives: William Afton is known to be dead to “Evan”, he knows that Clara Afton (his mother) is dead and is most likely possessing Ballora, although he doesn’t know that. He definitely knows that Elizabeth Afton is dead as he saw it happen. That is the whole reason why he had nightmares in the first place. I’m just not fully convinced on the name “Evan” so far, because the Crying Child would be dead and possessing Golden Freddy, not in the army speaking to his kid through a doll named Simon in the hospital. I’m not convinced.

I haven't read the Fazbear Frights books (due to laziness honestly) other than like the first 6 or so, so i don't really know much beyond the second book, so anything i would've said would be a complete guess And don't feel a need to apologize. reading my first comment, it came off as rather aggressive, but that wasn't the intention.

Bad probably wrong theory time: Okay, so the 4 things the crying child say in order are "I can hear sounds", "It was for me", "I can't see" and "I'm scared" and what I have come up with for that is... (I'm abbreviating the questions) For ICHS is page 75 which has "Does he still talk to you" with the picture of psychic friend Fred bear on it. For IWFM I have page 103 which has "the party was for you" on it. For ICS I have page 59 that says "Can you see me". Finally, for IS I have page 41 which says "Do you have dreams?" with a picture of a nightmare animatronic on it, which would be very scary for him. And With pages 75, 103, 59, and 41 if you put them in the foxy 8-bit letter graph, you get the letters E, V, A, and D. but if you reverse them, you get the name, Dave. Now I have no idea if this is right, but it's the first time I actually got a viable name out of any numbers I've put into it. And the thing with reversing it also seems a little random. But this is just a little head theory and way made for fun. Hope I was able to successfully explain what I did and it makes sense.

They almost got it right but as confermed in the real jake story Evan dies In a car crash while Mike dies in the fnaf 6 fire so it would make sence the one that william remade as a robot can survive their "guts" being riped out.
