  • Kaepernick is a total douche bag with a much better Mouth and lawyer than his ability to be an NFL quarterback. He doesn’t deserve to be in the league.

  • Totally get now why he’s not playing. Obviously he doesn’t want to. He did good to bring awareness to an issue however now it seems to me that he just wants attention, and to give the appearance that he’s trying to get back in the league. If he’s not the victim then what does he have. unfortunately he couldn’t lay down some facts proving why he deserves to be back in the league. Ballers ball, losers don’t show up and for those reasons, I’m out.

  • Keapernick is a child playing live action roll play protester. he's going to wake up one day and regret EVERYTHING when he realizes the fortune he couldve had had he just sucked it up like every other non entitled person in the world and followed the rules set by the very business he was trying to get a job with. Jeeze, maybe I should go find my dream job and then blast them and demand a job from them until they just roll over and give me one. The world doesnt work that way. Not for me, not for you and especially not for a self righteous ass hat like colin... Then he tried to demand 20 mil from the XFL? proof Stephen A was right. If he wanted to play and wanted the opportunity then money wouldnt be an issue. Cause you know you got it and can prove it and the check will come. But he wont even get on the field unless high demands are met. It has nothing to do with the NFL. This guy is just a loser who wont even try with anyone cause he doesnt wanna play. Hes got that sweat shop Nike Martyr money... as long as he pushes a narrative he becomes a martyr and keeps cashing that Nike check so Nike, who has committed an array of human rights violations, can feel good about themselves in a US market. Two suckers who were made for each other. Get your head out of your ass Mcaffee. I like you and you are one of my favorite sports reporters but you couldnt be more wrong. Before that no one had to be out there, no one was out there. The entire controversy is stupid af and only perpetuated by retards who can't remember what they had for breakfast let alone what things were like in the 90's and most of the 00's

No one who really wants a job makes demands on how their interview is conducted, changes locations for the interview last minute, last minute, then shows up (with press in tow) in a Kunta Kinte t-shirt. People who feel bad for him should turn off their white guilt long enough to recognize these facts. If it helps, as a black man, I hereby absolve you of all the sins of your forefathers past. There ya go. Now you can stop walking on eggshells and be Real. 👍🏽

  • Pat.... Colin Kaepernick does not have the right to work in the NFL. If he is a distraction, what team would want to add a distraction to their team? If he was so “bro code” maybe he would notice that less than 1% of black people are killed by police each year, but 96% of black people that are killed are killed by other black people, each year. He’s not in the NFL because he sucked as a quarterback and he was a distraction. Let’s not pretend that if Peyton Manning did the exact same thing in the exact same year, that he would’ve been benched and fired. You know that’s not true. He was benched and released because he refused to take a pay cut due to his lack of productivity, And then when they tried to trade him to Denver he turned it down. He’s not in the NFL because of his actions, no one else. And trust me, I don’t like defending the NFL as an corporation because I think they make plenty of mistakes, but this isn’t one of them. So for you to say that Colin Kaepernick did good for the world and “opened suburban Caucasian minds” it’s horseshit. And you can get that easily found for yourself if you researched your own topics and looked into crime statistics. Police officers are four times more likely to be killed by a black suspect than a white or any other race combined suspect. Black suspects are also disproportionately more probable to be caring a weapon. Black males are less than 6% of the population But I responsible for over 50% of the countries murder rate. So no, Colin Kaepernick did not start a good conversation and you should be ashamed of yourselves trying to pretend that you researched this topic at all.

  • "Now people can say Kaepernick doesn't wanna play" No... he CLEARLY doesn't. And with the police brutality argument he brought up-> There is feeling a way about something based on personal experience instead, and being correct about that something. And I'm tired of him being called a "hero" who "sacrificed" everything. His net worth doubled the second he put his knee down to say things that are objectively incorrect. Theres the CFL and the XFL, now @Kap... stfu and pick a move bc I think I speak for at least 50% of the country when I say we're tired of you being loud and wrong and self-contradictory all at the same time while claiming to be a saint.

    Charlie WethingtonCharlie Wethington7 หลายเดือนก่อน
  • I hate this argument, there isn’t a correct answer it’s all perspective... if he wanted a job in the nfl he should have done what they wanted him to do at the tryout. But he arguably shouldn’t have been a free agent anyways. I can understand a team not wanting him. He is a lightning rod for negative attention, but on the flip side of the coin he also could still be a decent player. I personally wouldn’t sign him based on public opinion, but I do hope he gets his fair chance at the end of the day.

  • The WAIVER: you know why Colin moved the workout? Colin was clearly advised not to sign the WAIVER. It would be malpractice for any lawyer to allow the client to sign this release/waiver. You cannot be in YOUR mind if you sign this waiver... Signing your rights away... Especially, Colin whom has representation and understands the language. So what is the problem, people? Are you dumb or stupid or would you do anything to play in the NFL? The root of the issue is signing your rights away to enable further collusion against you.

    Tron704Tron7047 หลายเดือนก่อน
  • Hey Stupid... 1. Why did Colin Kneel? 2. Do you understand what Colin was kneeling for? 3. Was there police shootings before Colin's kneeling? 4. Was there police shootings during Colin's protest? 5. Are there still police killings of innocent black men? *Okay kneeling justified... Simple, right... Wrong! 6. Did the NFL collusion against Colin? Did Colin win the pre-trial for collusion against NFL? Why did the NFL want to settle? Why? 7. Do you believe Colin could be a NFL backup Quarterback? 8. So you hate Colin and believe Colin's a traitor? Who are you? Is not the Confederate Flag: a flag of treason? Anyone one who fly this flag hates America? By definition... their declared war on America and killed more Americans than any war. Traitors who murdered Americans to defend slavery. Colin kneeled in a silent protest against racial injustice and police brutality. Therefore, Colin was fired from the NFL not because he could not do his job and not because he broke any NFL rules. Colin Kaepernick is the majority of one. The line isn't long of supportive people. Colin's small gesture to bring attention to an issue is very important. His social consciousness has exposed America and NFL executives. The NFL could make a phone call or go out to dinner, etc. with the chief of police, the mayor, or the governor to stop police brutality and fight against racial injustice... Why Jay-Z? To silence blacks, to stop the protest and stop the kneeling... Colin Kaepernick silence protest was on real-time factual information... Those who are comfortable with oppression are the ones who are the first to speak out and criticize the ones who dare speak out against oppression. Why FOCUS on Colin? Colin Kaepernick, stated "I am not going to stand up to show pride in a flag for a country that oppresses black people and people of color. To me, this is bigger than football and it would be selfish on my part to look the other way. There are bodies in the street and people getting paid leave and getting away with murder". During a conversation, with Nate Boyer (a Green Baret)... Nate and other veterans, encouraged Kaepernick to “take a knee” as a compromise, in part honoring men and women who have sacrificed themselves for what the anthem and flag represent and in part peacefully protesting injustices that have failed to live up to that symbolism. The gesture of taking a knee is a dynamic and complex one, and one that many soldiers, like Boyer, indeed do to show respect for their fallen fellows or to take a rest while on a mission. And you are mad at Colin for respecting the flag, country and fallen soldiers... Wow! Are you a traitor? Maybe a terrorist? Americans pledge an alligence to a flag and a song... the "National Anthem". A direct violation of God... Wow! Do you really believe in God or you believe a little just in case God is real? And now we have a workout by the NFL... Not the NFL teams... Why? LITIGATION! Roger Goodell, the NFL's Commissioner, leave private workouts in the hands of each individual NFL team. Why is the NFL for the first time in NFL history scheduling a private workout! Why would the NFL schedule the workout on a Saturday? When each NFL team hold real private workouts EVERY Tuesday... at their on facility. Why not hold the workout in Dallas on a Tuesday... It's a central location where all coaches and GMs are about 3 hours away. And why did the NFL try and use a non-traditional waiver? This is so vital for everyone's knowledge on this subject. This is why Colin and his team move the workout... Colin was not allowed to use his own receivers, Colin could not video tape his own workout, and Colin was told to sign a non-traditional WAIVER. Because this non-traditional waiver had a certain clause in it that said that ... you cannot take any action for any and all things that occur and take place inside of the grounds and not just injury... Why would Colin trust an organization that colluded against him. On the other hand, no one in their right mind and certainly no one with representation, would have signed this waiver-release-deal with the parameters in place. NFL workout was not about giving Kap a legitimate chance... 1. NFL wants you (suckers) to think, what an amazing moment and opportunity for Colin. 2. NFL want the control of the narrative, the talking point and the headline of... this is the 1st time the NFL has held a workout for a same player.

  • I know the majority of coverage football-wise is NFL stuff, but one factor no one is talking about is that he had a job with an AAF team until that shut down and probably still had a chance to get in on the CFL or XFL. The fact he had a lawsuit not too long ago most likely factors in this as well. People say three years was too long, but he probably would've gotten a shot sooner if he hadn't sued the league and accepted a shot from another league.

The guy had low stats as a QB his completion percentage was just under 60%. He had one Super bowl appearance and his career went down hill from there. I predict Cam Newton will end up in a similar fashion. No team should waste their time on this self entitled ingrate.
